Charleston police searching for suspects after shooting sends 1 to the hospital
Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital Monday night.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police detectives are searching for suspects following a shooting in West Ashley that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened in the 1300 block of Kruger Avenue near Savannah Highway.

The victim, identified as a man, was transported to MUSC.

“Detectives are gathering information to determine a motive and identify any suspect/suspects,” Charleston police officials said.

Emergency crews received a call about the shooting at 6:17 p.m.
