Police: One injured in stabbing on James Island
One person was transported to MUSC after being stabbed in a residential area.

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police and James Island Fire Department responded to a stabbing incident in a residential area where one person was wounded on Friday morning.

Dispatch received a call about a disturbance on the 1600 block of Folly Road around 4:32 a.m.

When officers arrive at the scene, they located a person behind a home with a stab wound.

The person with the wound was then transported to MUSC.
