CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -North Charleston police say the second man involved in a shooting that killed a man in the parking lot of a manufacturing plant in March has been arrested.
Jamal Dwayne Smalls Jr. was arrested in Atlanta, G.A on Tuesday morning for a murder charge that took place in March. Smalls is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail.
On March 14, officers responded to the Cummins Turbo Plant on Palmetto Commerce Parkway just after 7 p.m. for a man who was shot.
Smalls was involved in the shooting that killed Damien Stokes, officers say.
North Charleston police also arrested Ishmal Weston on Friday for murder after being involved in the fatal shooting.
Spencer Pryor, a spokesperson with North Charleston police say, law enforcement has initiated an extradition protocol that will bring Smalls to South Carolina.
