DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies will be conducting a traffic checkpoint in Ladson in response to collisions and citizen complaints.

Officials with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office say the checkpoint will be on Parlor Drive in Ladson on Wednesday, April 17 at 12 p.m.

“The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is conducting these checkpoints in response to collisions, citizen traffic complaints and previous enforcement,” DCSO officials said.

Drivers will be checked for a valid driver’s license, possible impairment, seatbelt use, proper child restraints (when applicable) and any other violations that may be visible to the deputy.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling in the area and to be alert for the presence of law enforcement officers.
