FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - MONDAY
Subtropical Storm Alberto continues to strengthen as it moves northward in the Gulf of Mexico. Alberto is forecast to make landfall near the Panhandle of Florida but will have far reaching effects as tropical moisture moves up the Southeast coastline. Tropical moisture will begin moving into the area today increasing our clouds, and eventually increasing our rain chances. The chance of heavier rainfall will start to arrive tonight and last through our Memorial Day. That's why the First Alert Weather Team has issued a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for Memorial Day.
