FAIRFAX, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say they have charged four people with murder in a shooting in the parking lot of a South Carolina motel.
The State Law Enforcement Division says 38-year-old Will Rogers Solomon of Yemassee was killed Dec. 5 by several people trying to rob him at the Fairfax Motel.
Investigators says Solomon was given the phone number of Amanda Davis, who decided to rob Solomon after talking to them.
SLED agents say Davis got brothers Russell and Steven Smart, and their cousin Eric Smart, to help her.
Authorities say the men confronted Solomon in his room and a fight spilled into the parking lot, where the victim was shot.
It wasn't immediately clear if any of the suspects had attorneys.
