ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina firefighters were working on a fire at a Winthrop University building.
School officials say the cause of Saturday's fire at Owens Hall won't be known until Sunday. The Herald of Rock Hill reported on its Web site that no injuries were reported.
York County emergency management director Cotton Howell says the flames appear to be contained in the attic portion of the 2-year-old building.
School officials are rescheduling Monday classes and have canceled all evening events at the school. The school said in a news release that Owens Hall will be closed to classes indefinitely.
