So far, deputies have logged at least 20 victims who had everything from power tools to cars and even a boat stolen.
Jonathan Loren Haynes, 20, and his brother Matthew Allan Craven, 23, are being held at the Hill Finklea Detention Center.
They were arrested Monday for possession and grand larceny of a stolen vehicle.
Detective Sgt. B.R. Schuler says these brothers are responsible for stealing everything from power tools to cars and boats from at least 20 different victims in Berkeley County, many of whom are their own neighbors.
They had a bond hearing Wednesday, but are being held pending other warrants.
Schuler says they've been stealing this merchandise since March.
Another pair of brothers, Tillman Harmon, 37, Rex Harmon, 23, were also arrested for receiving and possessing stolen goods. The Harmon brothers have been released on bond.
Neighbors who live in the Summerville neighborhood where Haynes and Craven live say they've been living in fear that their house could be hit next, and they're glad to see them off the streets.
