Quarles (Source: CCSO)CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force executed an outstanding warrants sweep around Charleston County Thursday night, capturing four fugitives including a Medical University surgical intern wanted for allegedly stalking an 18-year-old girl.
The Marshals captured Javorous Holmes, James Phillip Gladden, Aaron Lamont Quarles and Dr. Karl Leonard Ehren.
Ehren was wanted by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office for first degree harassment of a teenage girl. Ehren was captured at a traffic stop on Glenn McConnell Parkway, just miles from his home.
Holmes was captured in North Charleston. He had outstanding bench warrants for trafficking cocaine, distributing cocaine in the proximity of a school and robbery with a deadly weapon.
Gladden and Quarles were also captured in West Ashley. Gladden had outstanding warrants for robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. Quarles had outstanding federal warrants from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
During Quarles' arrest, said Maj. John Clark of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the suspect tried to toss an SKS Narico .308 assault rifle out of a window. He was taken into custody and ATF agents confiscated the assault rifle.
All four men were processed and put in the custody of the Charleston County Detention Center.
