Information on amendments available to voters online, in person

Posted: Updated:

MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Chapter of the South Carolina Coalition for Black Voter Participation will host a community meeting about statewide and local amendments on Thursday, October 28 at 7 p.m.  The meeting will be held at Friendship A.M.E. Church, located at 204 Royall Avenue in Mt. Pleasant.  The public is encouraged to attend.

In addition, The League of Women Voters has an easy-to-use, nonpartisan voter information website, www.Vote411.org, which is a helpful resource for the upcoming election.  It provides vital information about polling place locations, voter qualifications, ID requirements, election dates, absentee ballot information and early voting options.  It also provides a nonpartisan Voters' Guide and candidate/issue forums and the four state ballot measures with the same language provided as it will be on the actual ballot.
