
SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – Nikki Haley had a high-profile Republican by her side Thursday morning during a campaign stop in Summerville.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney joined Haley at the Fire Water Grill Thursday morning. Haley, the Republican candidate running for South Carolina Governor, made the stop as part of her 26-stop bus tour of SC.
Romney was expected to join Haley on one other stop Thursday in Bamberg. Haley was in North Charleston, Pawley's Island and Kingstree Wednesday.
Democratic candidate for governor Vincent Sheheen traveled throughout the upstate Wednesday to speak with voters. Sheheen will be in Florence and Myrtle Beach Thursday.
According to his official web site, Green Party candidate Morgan Reeves doesn't have any stops planned for this week. Reeves was not invited to any of the debates with Haley and Sheheen.
On Tuesday, voters will head to polls to pick their next governor.
