ST. GEORGE, SC (WCSC) -

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office is still looking for a member of the violent, Walterboro-area Cowboys gang in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman who was celebrating her 23rd birthday at a St. George club.

Deputies say they are looking for 20-year-old Dashawn Trevell Brown, of Walterboro, who officials with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office say is a member of the Cowboys gang.  He is wanted on one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Sierra Truesdale.

This is not Brown's first brush with the law.  Just last year, the Colleton County Sheriff's Office charged him with five counts of attempted murder for an April 4 shooting in the area of Pansy and Godwin streets in Walterboro.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the sheriff's office at 843-873-5111.

On Wednesday, deputies arrested 23-year-old Ikeal Emar Dacus, of Reevesville, and charged him with murder.

More arrests are likely in the case, investigators said.

A witness of the July 14 shooting said members of the Cowboys started the incident at the Starlite Lounge, located at 243 Hudson Road.  The man said the Cowboys put American flag bandanas over their faces and walked outside and started firing off rounds just before Truesdale was shot.

Truesdale was ducking behind a vehicle when she was caught in the crossfire, authorities say.  She died a short time later en route to the hospital.

A judge denied Dacus bond on the attempted murder charge. During his court appearance Dacus apologized to the victim's family and said he did not fire the gun that killed Truesdale.

"I think he's a coward. I don't think that he cared at all," said Truesdale's mother, Tamika Myers, after the bond hearing. "I needed for him to understand that not only did he take my daughter, he took my best friend."

Records show Dacus has previously been charged in a number of crimes, including shoplifting, petty larceny, assault and battery and simple assault.

Dacus is being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center.  It's unclear at this point if Dacus has any affiliation with the Cowboys.
