Most Interesting Assignments:
I spent several weeks covering a natural disaster affecting much of the southwest Georgia region. Several tornadoes ripped through the area in one night, leaving death and destruction in its path. People's homes and businesses, even a regional hospital was demolished. To see the aftermath in person, and talking to the people affected, is life changing. The experience helps me understand the importance of the work we do as broadcast journalists.
