WASHINGTON - South Carolina's senior senator says he's sick of Senator Obama playing the race card instead of talking about his record.
Senator Lindsey Graham, a long-time friend of John McCain says it was a low-blow for Georgia congressman John Lewis to compare Governor Palin and Senator McCain's conduct to segregationist George Wallace.
"Senator Obama's record has been attacked in a very fair way. The rhetoric and the record don't match when it comes to Senator Obama, and this is not going to work. It may have worked with the Clintons, but it's not going to work with us," said Graham.
Graham has his own campaign to worry about as well. He faced his first and only debate against Democratic opponent Bob Conley Saturday.
