Sam Rittenberg mattress store robbed

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Police have confirmed that two men tried to rob the Mattress and More store on Sam Rittenberg this afternoon.

According to police and people at the scene, a customer barricaded himself in the store's office and called 911 which prevented the would-be thieves from taking any money.

Police say no one was injured during the incident.
