According to the City of Charleston Fire Department, over the course of 10 days, there have been four house fires downtown. Fire officials say in two of those cases, the fires were set intentionally sparking the department to go door-to-door to keep the community safe.More >>

Charleston fire officials said on Tuesday that two recent downtown fires were deliberately set. Fire Marshal Mike Julazadeh said a fire at 96 Cannon St. on June 28 was intentional as was a fire on June 30 at 563 Rutledge Avenue.More >>
