Live 5 News is teaming up with the Lowcountry Food Bank and the CBS Early Show to fight hunger.

Non-perishable food can be dropped off at the food bank at 1635 Cosgrove Avenue. Donations can also be made at our studios. Live 5 News is located at 2126 Charlie Hall Boulevard in West Ashley.

The food drive is leading up to a nationwide event known as "Stamp Out Hunger".

On May 10th, postal workers nationwide will pick up paper bags of non-perishable food donations and deliver them directly to local food banks.
