Authorities say Rosell fled after he saw agents approach the home in the Summer Creek Mobile Home Park yesterday. Ten days ago, agents were called to the wooded area behind the mobile home park after receiving tips that materials to make meth were back there. Yesterday, investigators were following up in the area when they said they smelled meth. Inside the home, they found and arrested Erin Tobey, 23. She was charged with manufacturing meth and manufacturing meth close to a school. Agents wearing protective gear then went inside the home and brought hydrogen peroxide, brake cleaner, alcohol and other chemicals out of the shed where deputies say the meth was being cooked. To minimize contact with the toxic chemicals, 12 nearby homes were roped off and residents were evacuated for hours. Berkley County legal adviser Blair Jennings says the chemicals used in meth production are highly flammable and can lead to a fire or explosion if mixed in any way. Tobey was stripped and was taken into a yellow decontamination tent, where she was soaked with water and washed with soap to remove the chemicals from her body. Nearby neighbors watched as agents brought out the chemicals. One of the residents was too scared to give her name, but pointed blame at the mobile home park management. “There's too many children running here and the people should have been evicted," the woman said. "I've got kids running around. There are kids everywhere." Berkeley County Sheriff's Office officials say it’s their eighth meth lab bust this year. 2008 WCSC, Inc. All rights reserved.
