More 218th Returning Home

It'll be a happy homecoming for more of the South Carolina Army National Guard's 218th Brigade Combat Team.

About 65 soldiers are expected to arrive at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The soldiers have been deployed in Afghanistan for about a year now.

In addition, 200 soldiers from the 132nd Military Police Company are expected to return to Camp Shelby in Mississippi today.
Most soldiers from the 218th Brigade have already returned home.

During the past couple of weeks.. about 16-hundred returned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Of the soldiers that have since returned.. several homecoming celebrations will be held throughout the Palmetto State.

Locally.. a celebration will be held at four this afternoon at the North Charleston Armory on Cross County road for soldiers who landed in North Carolina last week.
