Child care can be one of the hardest things for working parents to juggle, but across the tri county area there places to turn for help.

Latoyya Jones with Trident United Way helps parents find affordable long term child care, but can also help find someone to watch the kids in an emergency.

The child care resource office is open Monday to Friday 9 to 5. There is also 24 hour a day help through Trident United Way.

The hot line number is 211.

Operators give information about resources like child care, medical clinics, food banks and drug treatment.

They also offer immediate emergency counseling.
