CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Twenty six year old Romone Carter is wanted for Violation of Community Supervision. Carter was placed on supervision after being convicted for Armed Robbery.
"Speaking with the agent on this case, he did pretty well for the first few months and then apparently disintegrated in terms of his accountability," Probation and Parole agent Lynne Moldenhauer said.
Carter served eight years, 85 percent of his sentence before being put on Community Supervision. Probation agents say Carter does not have a long criminal rap sheet, only a conviction for Burglary. Still, they say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
"Anybody who has been incarcerated for this length of time for such a conviction as armed robbery, and then is alleged to have firearms in his possession even now, I think is a considerable risk to the community and we can ill afford to have them there," Moldenhauer stressed.
Romone Carter stands 5'4 and weighs 125 pounds. Again he should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. You can remain anonymous and may earn a reward.
