CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County deputies are looking for 25 year old Donald Holmes. Holmes is wanted for Failing To Appear In Court on nine felony charges, most of them drug related. "He's been accused of dealing Crack, Ecstacy, Marijuana, all within the proximity of a school," said Charleston County Detective Reggie Sharpe. "Apparently, this guy is a rolling pharmaceutical distributor in his own right."
Deputies say someone posted $150,000 bond that allowed Holmes to get out of jail. Someone is now on the hook for that money. "It tells me that somebody had some serious money to get him out of jail, whether it was his family or whether it was himself from proceeds of his endeavors," Detective Sharpe said.
Even though Holmes doesn't have any violent crimes on his rap sheet, deputies say don't let that fool you. He's still considered dangerous because he's run from them before. "And also he has no regard to the public health," Sharpe said. "You know when you're dealing drugs and this quantity of drugs and this many variety of drugs, all you care about is a profit."
Donald Holmes stands 6'1" and weighs about 230 pounds. His last known address was on Jacksonville Avenue in Union Heights. Holmes has a tattoo with the word, "birdboy" on his left hand and one with the word "mile" on his right hand. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
