WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) - LowCountry Regional Airport in Walterboro reported Friday afternoon that a Cessna 177 Cardinal 4 seater plane made an emergency landing at the airport.
According to officials, the plane's nose gear was not functioning.
They told Live 5 News a husband and wife were on board and were circling the airport to burn fuel. Fire and other emergency personnel were at the airport for the emergency landing.
THe plane landed safely and the couple on board were not hurt in the landing, said airport officials.
