Summerville police make arrest in weekend murder

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Summerville Police made an arrest in the shooting death of Kenneth Nolan Friday afternoon.

18-year-old Darrius Troy Sherman was arrested and charges with murder, possession of a firearm during a violent crime, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Nolan, 41, was shot Oct. 17 outside the Boone West Apartments. He died before police arrived at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the case and say further charges and arrests may be made at a later date.
