CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police arrested a man and woman on H Street in downtown Charleston for manufacturing meth after US Marshals found the meth lab while serving a warrant.

Marshals were serving an arrest warrant on William Fleck, 48, of Kentucky for manufacturing meth. When the officials knocked on the door, Fleck jumped out of a second story window. The Marshals opened the door and found a meth lab.

Inside the 13 H St. apartment was Brantley Barrett, 39, and Fleck's five-year-old granddaughter. She was returned to her mother and police say she was not injured during the arrest.

Fleck and Barrett were charged by Charleston police with manufacturing meth and are presently in the county detention center.

A company from Spartanburg is coming to clean the house up.
