CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - State Probation and Parole agents are looking for 33 year old David Moore. Moore is wanted for a Probation Violation stemming from convictions for Bank Fraud and Identity Fraud. "He was the roommate of a couple of individuals. He used their identity to gain money from an institution," said Probation and Parole Agent Lynne Moldenhauer.

Authorities say as part of his probation, Moore is supposed to pay $9,000 in restitution to his victims. "It's a crime that creates difficulty for the people who are victimized by it. Nobody can afford to have their money taken," Moldenhauer stressed.

Probation agents say Moore is no stranger to trouble. He has a long criminal record that includes multiple arrests and convictions in South Carolina Virginia. Probation agents have a warning for anyone who makes friends with Moore. "If you are a roommate of this particular individual and hearing this announcement, then you'd better be looking at your checkbook and your bank account because he may very well be using your information to gain money," Moldenhauer said.

Moore stands 5'10 and weighs about 195 lbs.  If you have any information on him, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
