CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A fugitive featured on Live 5 "Most Wanted" has been captured thanks to a tip from a viewer. Charleston police arrested 23-year-old Kevis Lee Thursday night about a half hour after the segment aired.

Police say right after the story aired, the viewer called them and said Lee was staying at a Romney Street apartment. Officers say Lee tried to get away through a back window, and a gun fell out of his waistband.

Lee is wanted by North Charleston Police on a charge of Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill, in connection with a shooting on Baxter Street last August. Charleston Police charged Lee with Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun. He also is wanted by the Department of Probation and Parole.
