CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -South Carolina Probation and Parole agents are looking for 28 year old Gregory Green. Green is wanted for a probation violation stemming from convictions for unlawful carrying of a pistol and failure to stop for a blue light. "Probation is not something unfamiliar to Mr. Green. It's just something that he obviously doesn't feel much like doing," Probation and Parole agent Lynne Moldenhauer said.

Green has been on probation three different times and apparently still doesn't get it. "Probation is not easy. It is not for weak minded people," Moldenhauer said.

Green's got a record that goes back to 1998. That includes a conviction for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and for that, he got two years probation. But Green flunked probation again and was sent to prison. "This is just an individual where you see again this profile of drugs, guns and in this case an assault," Moldenhauer said. "We see an escalation of behavior which is dangerous for those people who encounter him in the community. We will try to take this individual and return him to the Department of Corrections where he actually probably should be."

Green stands 5'10" and weighs about 148 lbs. If you have any information on him, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
