Live5+ is the younger sibling to Live 5 WCSC-TV. It was born out of the Big Switch to digital television in 2009.
With the additional digital broadcast spectrum made available to local broadcasters, WCSC has added new programming to over the air digital channel 5.2. Comcast Cable subscribers will find Live5+ on channel 212, Knology Cable subscribers tune to channel 146, Time Warner customers can find us on 111 and Home Cable TV should tune to 116.
At this point, Live5+ is not available to satellite dish users. If you subscribe to satellite TV, and would like to see Live5+ added to the list of channels, contact your satellite provider.
The Live 5 team programs Live5+ 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Programming includes rebroadcasts of the top-rated Live 5 News newscasts. Periodically you'll also see live feeds from Super Doppler HD, the Lowcountry's only high definition radar.
Live5+ also features entertainment, reality, and game shows currently not broadcast in the Charleston market, including "Deadliest Catch," "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," "RightThisMinute," "Inside Edition," "Access Hollywood," "My Name is Earl," and "The Insider." just to name a few shows.
Live5+ will also feature original sports programming from Raycom Sports, and original local news, weather, and entertainment programs.
