MB man's disappearance in Sumter now considered suspicious

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - A South Carolina family is asking for help finding a man missing in Sumter, and now the sheriff's department says they believe his disappearance is suspicious.

Brandon Graves lives in Myrtle Beach, but is originally from Dillon. Official reports claim he was last seen a week ago at Sebastian's Night Life on U.S. 378 in Sumter.   However, the club's owner and Graves' family believe Graves may have left Sebastian's before he disappeared.

Sumter Sheriff Anthony Dennis says his office is looking into additional evidence, but did not elaborate.

Saturday, friends and family members were searching the woods near the club hoping to find any clues that may help find graves.

They were also handing out flyers to people driving by.

"If anybody's seen Brandon, the family -- not Crimestoppers, but the family -- we'll give you a cash reward for information leading to Brandon's whereabouts," said Graves' brother, Larry German.

Graves also went by the nickname 'Peanut.' If you know anything about where he may be, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
