ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - A company that makes food packaging machines is moving from North Carolina to South Carolina.
The Herald of Rock Hill reported Wednesday that Bradman Lake will move from Charlotte to Rock Hill, bringing 50 jobs.
Bradman Lake makes machines that do shrink wrapping as well as cartons and other products for the food industry.
Both Rock Hill City Council and York County Council have offered tax breaks to encourage the move.
The company will move into a building at a 40-acre business park near Interstate 77. Rick Norwood with the city's economic development office says having the building available gave the city an advantage.
