GERMANY (WCSC) - A German news agency is reporting Joran van der Sloot has confessed to dumping Natalee Holloway's body in a swamp in Aruba almost 4 years ago.

Joran van der Sloot made the statement in a sit-down interview with a television journalist. However, Aruba's chief prosecutor Peter Blanken says the suspect's story was "very unbelievable." Blanken went on to say, "times did not fit and named witnesses mentioned are denying his claims."

This isn't the first time Van der Sloot has confessed to being involved in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Two years ago Van der Sloot made similar statements to a Dutch crime reporter but said he dumped Holloway's body into the sea. He also said Holloway died accidently and insisted he didn't kill her.

Natalee Holloway has been missing since May 30, 2005. She was on a high school graduation trip to Aruba at the time of her disappearance. Her body has never been found.
