Columbia councilman's store cited for selling alcohol to minor

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A convenience store owned by a member of Columbia City Council was ticketed for selling alcohol to a minor last week.

The State Law Enforcement Division issued the ticket on Feb. 18 at the One Stop Party Shop on Beltline Boulevard. The alcohol license for that business is owned by E.W. Cromartie, a member of Columbia City Council.

According to the ticket, the cashier allowed someone under 21 to purchase alcohol around 9:15 p.m.
