CHARLESTON, SC - A man died early Saturday morning in a car accident in Berkeley County.
Henry Wright, Jr., 54 of Huger, was traveling south on United Drive when he ran his pickup truck off the left side of the roadway, hitting a power pole and overturning.
Berkeley County Rescue Squad found Wright pinned in his vehicle before extricating him.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Salisbury pronounced him dead on the scene, and officials ruled the death an accident with body trauma being the cause of death.
Wright was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the coroner's office.
