ATLANTA (AP) - Fulton County authorities say three men are charged with stealing $2 million worth of expensive appliances and selling much of their take on the Internet.
District Attorney Paul Howard announced the arrests at a news conference on Monday. He said a new federally funded burglary task force investigated the case.
Howard identified the men arrested as 32-year-old Joseph Mobbs, 37-year-old Tracy Devrick and 34-year-old Kinneth Devrick.
Howard said they burglarized homes that were listed for sale but unoccupied and stole refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and microwaves. He said the merchandise was sold on Craigslist and other sites.
