DILLON, S.C. (AP) - Prosecutors will try a 15-year-old boy who police say helped killed a 75-year-old South Carolina woman after stealing her car as an adult.
Multiple media outlets report John Henry Bridges is charged with murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges.
Authorities say Bridges, 17-year-old Damian Inman and 18-year-old Lorenzo Inman broke into Mary Stutts' home in Dillon last August, stealing her car and stuffing her in the trunk.
Investigators say the suspects drove around with Stutts in the car, turning up the radio so they couldn't hear her screams and prayers.
Stutts was found shot to death on a dirt road after 2 of the men were stopped driving her car, which police were looking for after a friend reported her missing.
