GRAY COURT, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say a 50-year-old employee at a South Carolina car lot was killed by a fellow worker in a fight over a parking space.
Authorities told multiple media outlets that Randy Lyn Fuller became upset on Thursday because a car was blocking in another vehicle that was about to be shipped at Classic Cars of South Carolina in Gray Court.
Investigators say Fuller got into a scuffle with the other employee and died during the fight.
Authorities say Fuller wasn't shot or stabbed and an autopsy has been scheduled for Friday.
Laurens County Sheriff Ricky Chastain says the other employee told investigators he was acting in self-defense.
Chastain says he will consult with prosecutors before deciding whether to file charges.
