
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina men's tennis coach Kent DeMars is among 10 named to the Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame.
DeMars has spent 37 years as a college head coach and plans to retire from the Gamecocks after this season. DeMars won seven NCAA Division II national titles at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, then won six conference titles and made 18 NCAA tournament appearances with South Carolina.
DeMars will be inducted May 26 in Athens, Ga.
