COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - A Greenville man is facing $4 million in fines and life in prison if convicted on a two-count federal drug indictment.
Shawn Demetrius White, 35, is charged with possession and distribution of crack cocaine.
Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin F. McDonald said White is accused of selling crack cocaine on two separate occasions in 2009 to an individual working with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office as a confidential source.
The case was investigated by agents of the FBI and Greenville County Sheriff's Office. The case has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeanne Howard of the Greenville office for prosecution.
