COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - Two North Charleston men were charged in federal court Thursday with possessing a firearm.
Terrance Brown and Kareem Doctor were stopped by police during a routine traffic stop. When a search of the car was conducted, two firearms were recovered in the car, said the release. Both men are prohibited from owning firearms due to their previous criminal records.
The maximum penalty Brown and Doctor could each receive is a fine of $250,000 and life imprisonment if they are convicted.
