CHARLESTON, SC - CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - It's a high-flying performance on the South Carolina coast as the Navy's Blue Angels flight squadron performs two shows.
The performances on Saturday and Sunday will take the Blue Angels over both Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River.
City officials say the best viewing areas are at the Charleston Maritime Center, the city's Waterfront Park, the Charleston battery and Liberty Square near the South Carolina Aquarium.
In Mount Pleasant, the best viewing is at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. The Coast Guard has put restrictions on boat traffic in Charleston Harbor and the river during the shows.
