COWPENS, S.C. (AP) - Police say they have found the bodies of three people who were shot to death at a home in South Carolina.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that the bodies were discovered Saturday morning by two children who had been sleeping in the home. The children were unharmed and have been put into protective custody.
The coroner's office said Saturday afternoon that it is not releasing the names of the victims until family members can be notified.
The sheriff's news release said investigators have identified a person they want to interview in connection with the case. That person's name was not released.
