SC adult sisters killed, man injured in shootings

SALEM, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say two South Carolina sisters have been found dead and a man wounded in a series of shootings.

Investigators say 68-year-old Jerry Corley was able to make it to a home on Monday and call 911.

Deputies found 62-year-old Audrey Scull's body in some woods in Tamassee about an hour later, and the body of her sister and Corley's wife, 66-year-old Eloise Corley, at a home in Salem about 7:30 p.m.

Authorities say 21-year-old Shawn Owens and 24-year-old William Gresham were arrested shortly after the bodies were found and charged with murder, kidnapping, burglary and other charges. It wasn't immediately clear if either had an attorney.

Investigators say the crime rampage appeared to begin as a home invasion and 1 of the suspects may have known the victims.
