Suspect arrested in SC teen's shooting death

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A man has been arrested in the shooting of a South Carolina teen found dead in his car.

Multiple media outlets reported that 33-year-old Shannon Anthony Scott turned himself in to Columbia police Wednesday afternoon on a murder charge.

Police say 17-year-old Darrell Andre Niles was found shot to death in his car at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say several shots were fired and one struck Niles in the head.

It's the fourth time since February a man has been found shot to death in a car in Columbia.

It was unclear Thursday if Scott had an attorney.
