SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's Republican gubernatorial hopefuls are headed to debate in 1 of the state's GOP strongholds.
The Spartanburg County GOP debate Friday night comes at crucial time for candidates as they look to turn out voters for the June 8 primary which is less than seven weeks away.
U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett, Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, state Rep. Nikki Haley and Attorney General Henry McMaster will talk about issues at the Chapman Cultural Center.
WSPA-TV in Spartanburg will carry the 7 p.m. debate live on television and on its Web site.
