SC women busted for allowing house party

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Two South Carolina women who were chaperones on a graduation trip to Florida have been arrested for allowing a party under their supervision.

Lisa Bostick, of Estill, S.C., and Phyllis Harvey, of Hampton, S.C., face charges of allowing a minor to have alcohol at an open house party and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They have both posted $1,000 bond.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a party Friday and saw several people with alcoholic drinks. Harvey told deputies she bought the drinks and let students to consume them. Bostick also said she knew the drinks were being consumed by students.

A message left at Patrick Henry Academy in Estill was not immediately returned.
