DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford plans to tour storm damage in Darlington County, where officials say at least one school and several mobile homes were struck.
The governor's office said Sanford planned to meet Monday morning with first responders and emergency management leaders about the response to the storms Sunday night.
Officials say at least three people were hurt.
Emergency management spokesman Linwood Epps says the storm has not been confirmed as a tornado but seemed to be. The National Weather Service planned to investigate Monday.
Schools in the city of Darlington are closed and schools in the county planned to open two hours later than usual.
