Suspect arrested in James Island bank robbery

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police arrested one suspect and are searching for one more in a bank robbery at a First Federal on James Island.

Rashad Harley, 31, is charged with entering a bank or financial institution with intent to steal. He was arrested during a traffic stop, a police spokesman said.

The Harbor View road branch was robbed by two men with blue bandanas over their faces shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28th.

No reports of injuries have been released.
