CHARLESTON, SC - CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Coast Guard rescued three boaters from a disabled boat in Bulls Bay early Saturday morning.
Coast Guard officials received a relayed distress call from 911 dispatchers at 1:30 a.m. "Three people were stranded on a disabled 17-foot unnamed Glassmaster boat," according to a Coast Guard release.
Air Facility Charleston sent an HH-65 rescue helicopter crew and a Department of Natural Resources rescue boat crew responded.
Robby Marrison, the boat's owner, and his two crewmembers were airlifted and transported to the Mt. Pleasant Airport.
The men were reported to be in fair condition.
