COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina residents and civic groups are being honored for their work with senior citizens.
The annual State Aging Awards will be presented on Tuesday at the Statehouse. The awards honor the Outstanding Older South Carolinian, Volunteer Service, Leadership in Aging and Health Promotion for Older South Carolinians.

The nominations come from groups across the state that advocate and provide services for senior citizens.
